Hidelbrandt's Starling

A really stunning piece of work. Africa's glossy starlings are a sight to behold, but quite a challenge to illustrate because of that same iridescence. However I think you did a splendid job here capturing all the different colours and how they merge, while also capturing their shimmering quality without making things too 'shiny'. I also love how there's one feather sticking out there - it's not often illustrations show how feathers (and fur, for that matter) are a little out of order
